n 2008, Motorola introduced the 3.5G MC75 product family, leveraging the field-proven and best-selling MC70 rugged EDA form factor and its broad accessory ecosystem. To date, we've sold in excess of 750,000 MC70s, and the MC70 remains a strong-selling product solution for both indoor mobility and field mobility. The MC75, the industry's first rugged handheld mobile computer supporting both 3.5G GSM HSDPA (MC75X6) and 3.5G CDMA EVDO Rev A (MC75X8), is now the industry's best-selling product solution for 3G WAN-enabled field mobility

As the MC75 is the industry's best-selling product solution for 3G WAN-enabled field mobility, we are providing a replacement MC75 CDMA product (MC75A8) with the latest 3.5G CDMA EVDO Rev A modem which will commence shipment in April 2010. A secondary communication will be forthcoming that will announce the release of these new MC75 CDMA configurations (MC75A8).
The suggested product replacement will be new MC75A8 configurations that will be open for booking in the week of March 15th 2010. We can provide details on these new configurations The new configurations will incorporate Motorola's industry-leading MPA platform that protects customers' application investment and will be backwards compatible to existing accessories.
